[New Chapter Posted!] The End.

Tricked ya. I do that sometimes.

Of all of the stories I’ve written, the one I was sure I was never going to touch again was this one. As much as I love an open-ended ending, I didn’t really want to do that. This story was incredibly sad, too sad as some readers occasionally pointed out, and it felt too rude to have it be so heartbreakingly sad and then leave it up to interpretation. So, today I added an epilogue to the story. I hope you enjoy it.

Plus, as mentioned, I have a clear idea in my head as to how my stories play out. While I couldn’t have really picked up this storyline in a whole other story, I figured the least I could do is jump ahead in time and let people know how it ended.

I also hope people don’t mind the self-indulgent little add-on right at the end – I felt given the themes of the story, it was necessary. Just as some people claim to get their sex education from porn stories (which is all the more reason to be accurate when it comes to the hymen and focus less on measurements), some people are going to learn human interaction to a small extent from these stories. I know I’ve read a line in a sex story about some dude expressing his feelings and gone, “Woah, I’m gonna use this!” at age 14.

So in case that little blurb at the end helps anyone, I wanted to include it. I know my past self would have found some comfort in reading it.

Also, fun fact, this is my first ever piece that didn’t include sex in any form. It kind of feels good to know that not every piece has to include sex, especially if I already posted something this month. Obviously I know why you’re here so I won’t make too much of a habit out of it, but I hope it’s enjoyed nonetheless. I’ll talk to you all next week.

  1. i love your stories, love, love them…
that being said this wasn’t what i expected, i guess because real life does not work like that …
life is messy and more often than not trying to take another chance on love will almost always end in self loathing and embarrassment…
i liked your stories because they emulated real life in your own way but this one I’m afraid was swing and a miss…

    1. Fair enough! I can’t say I please everyone every time. I hope the rest of the story was enjoyable nonetheless, and here’s hoping I get the next one right. 😉

  2. I loved the story as a whole. It was really unique in that these themes are never seen, at least in a serious way, in erotica, and rarely in non-erotica. I enjoyed the characters, though I wish Holly was a little more relevant after the early chapters.
However, the epilogue felt kinda forced. The story really felt like real events that were being recounted, but the epilogue felt fake, in a way. The main characters don’t always need to end up together, and I think this story could have been a good example of a time where it just doesn’t work out, and that’s okay.
Either way, I look forward to more excellent writing in the future.
